How Do I...

• Books and CDs check out for 28 days. DVDs (and almost everything else) check out for one week.
• To place a hold on an item or renew any materials you have checked out, you can log in to your BearCat account. A list of your checked out items will appear on the right side of the page. Books you place holds on will be checked out to you. You may pick them up in the library.

• For current newspapers and magazines from around the world, check out PressReader.
• Try our journal search for academic publications.
• We also have an online guide to our databases.
• If you can’t find it or we don’t have it, just come and ask for help at the front desk.

• We have several spaces in the library that can be reserved for classes and meetings:
  • Library Viewing Room (equipped with SMART board, overhead projector, flat-screen TV, DVD/VCR)
  • Media Center (flat-screen TV, computers)
  • Library Meeting Room (flat-screen TV, DVD/VCR)
  • First floor (overhead projector, screen)
  • Richard L. Hatch '37 Classroom (flat-screen TV)
  • Group study rooms
• You can use Apple TV on the flat screens. Just follow the instructions posted in the room or ask for help at the front desk.
• For conference calls, contact ITS to request the necessary equipment.
