Acceptable Use Policy:

Periodically we ask that you review and accept the terms of use for the Hotchkiss Alumnet Web site described below.

Alumnet is a service provided by The Hotchkiss School and the Alumni & Development Office to facilitate communication among alumni. Certain uses are inconsistent with this purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Mass mailing (i.e., "spamming");
  • Use that inaccurately implies endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by Hotchkiss;
  • Use that can be confused with official communications of Hotchkiss;
  • Use for commercial, sales, or promotional purposes;
  • Any activity that is illegal or fraudulent.
  • Use for fundraising on behalf of political or other not-for-profit organizations.

Hotchkiss will deny further access to the secure portion of its website (i.e., Alumnet) to those who engage in these or similar practices.

All class notes are reviewed before they are posted on the site for other users to read. Hotchkiss reserves the right to edit or delete the content of any class note it deems inappropriate. Hotchkiss expects community members to exhibit the same level of respect for others in this forum as in any other Hotchkiss venue (such as on-campus or off-campus alumni events). Lewd, suggestive, or vulgar language is strongly discouraged and may be deleted. Hotchkiss may deny access to Alumnet to any individual at any time who violates the direct policies or purpose of this private Web site.

Please note that the Alumni & Development Office may revise this policy, and your continued use of the site constitutes your agreement to comply with such modifications.

Please report any abuses or misuse of Alumnet to the Alumnet administrator (alumnet@hotchkiss.org).

You must accept the Acceptable Use Policy to have access to alumnet.

You will not be officially logged on to Alumnet until you accept the Policy by filling out all the fields below. Thank you!
